By 2017, 80% of consumers will collect, track and barter their personal data for cost savings, convenience and customization.

Access to talent
Fostering the digital skills and talent required to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the global digtial economy.
Women represent the majority of university graduates yet only 39% graduated with stem degrees.
New data centres means the Canadian federal government will be the largest outsourcer in 2018, and the IDC predicts that $2.5 billion worth of contracts will enter the market between 2015 and 2017.
Access to capital
Access to financial capital and investments required for technology and business growth. The governments of Ontario and Canada will match funds put into the Northleaf Venture Catalyst Fund by committing one dollar for each two put forth by private investors, with a target total fund value of $300 million. Already, they've raised $217.45 million.
81% of Canadian executives are confident that credit availability is stable or improving.
How Canada ranks
Canada ranks as the second best business environment, behind only Hong Kong. Canada has the lowest federal tax burden as a percentage of gross domestic product in over 50 years, with the lowest business tax costs in the G-7.
