Readyportal has unveiled plans to expand its US and Brazilian presence with the opening of two new offices. This was made possible by their acceptance into CDMN’s Soft-Landing Program.

Will open offices in Washington DC and Sao Paulo, Brazil

Toronto, Canada – Readyportal (www.readyportal.com), developer of a next-generation Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) web applications platform, has unveiled plans to expand its US and Brazilian presence with the opening of two new offices. A local presence in these countries, will allow the company to – host a Department of Defense (DoD) certified version of Readyportal in Washington DC; develop and strengthen international partnerships; and pursue major opportunities like the Rio 2016 Olympics and US Federal Government.

“We are grateful to the Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN) and their Soft-Landing Program for considering Readyportal. We are honored to be amongst a small number of Canadian companies accepted into this prestigious program. This will go a long way to helping Readyportal establish a strong presence in the Washington DC and Brazilian markets,” said Rajiv Chatterjee, CEO and Founder of Readyportal.

CDMN’s Soft-Landing Program helps mature startups and SMEs like Readyportal, kick start their international growth by helping them access foreign markets. “The Soft-Landing Program has already resulted in millions of dollars in new business and investment for our participating companies and generated more than a 30x return on CDMN’s investment of funds and resources,” said Kevin Tuer, CDMN’s Managing Director.

The Readyportal platform excels at online business process enablement – and the ability to rapidly deploy complex web applications cost effectively, while meeting the changing needs of organizations in a fast paced digital world. This collection of agile web development tools delivers solutions in up to 60% less time and 50% less cost when compared to other products and solutions.

Readyportal plans to capitalize on recent successes in the US, including the implementation of a US Army portal – the Army OneSource resource center supports Service Providers nation-wide who assist military service members, veterans and their families. This success has created tremendous interest among Federal Agencies and implementation partners, positioning Readyportal as an excellent alternative to competing technologies and solutions.

Another example of success is Achieve, an organization dedicated to working with US Department of Education to raise academic standards as a part of the ‘Common Core’ program. Readyportal was used to create two portal sites – one for accepting and evaluating candidate applications to become curriculum reviewers, and a second site for educators nation-wide to submit Lesson plans for evaluation against the Common Core State Standards – combined these sites resulted in significant time and cost savings over the previous manual process.

Given the platform’s unique strengths, customer successes, and the company’s US expansion plans focused on Education, Federal Government and Healthcare markets, Readyportal is poised for strong growth in 2014.

In Brazil, Readyportal plans to leverage the country’s exploding demand for broadband access which in turn is driving the need for online business solutions, as more and more companies scrabble to get online. Brazil is ripe for expansion with a population of 200 million, an install base of 70 million smart phones, and 6.5 million Small-Medium Enterprises – many of which are clamoring for cost effective solutions to automate their businesses online, especially in the area of ecommerce and collaboration. Large multi-national corporations will also be a focus of interest with their need for collaborative solutions – a strength of Readyportal.

“The growth of the internet in Brazil is skyrocketing, and companies want to establish a web presence to take advantage of this opportunity. However, here in Brazil solutions like Readyportal don’t exist,” said Ricardo Sodre, CEO and Founder of Project-1. Mr. Sodre, a Venture Capitalist and strategic business partners of Readyportal, has extensive knowledge of the Brazilian market and is helping open doors into that market.

According to Mr. Sodre, “The Brazilian market is ripe for a web development platform like Readyportal. It gives companies the ability to establish a quality web presence in the easiest, fastest and most cost effective way possible.”
