On May 10, CDMN hosted the Thomson Reuters National Collision Day at the newly opened Communitech Data Hub in Waterloo, Ontario. The collision day was an opportunity for startups to pitch their machine learning, artificial intelligence and solutions for the financial, legal and accounting sectors.
Three companies were selected for prizes of $5,000 towards the purchase of Thomson Reuters data sets. The companies are Intellizence, ASPIRE and Rel8ed. A fourth company, FileFacets, was awarded the opportunity to meet with Thomson Reuters customers.
